Today, is a very exciting one for all of us.

We’ve been on an incredible journey over the past decade, becoming a key player pioneering the future of software-defined vehicles (SDVs). But as our business has evolved so too must our brand. While the name ‘Cubic Telecom’ has served us incredibly well, it’s time for a new identity, one that represents the breadth of advanced software solutions and services we provide. 

That’s why I’m excited to announce that, as of today: we are Cubic3. 

What Cubic3 represents 

If a company’s brand tells the story of its business, then ours highlights our distinctiveness and character. Cubic3, pronounced simply ‘Cubic,’ is memorable and unique, helping us to build relationships with customers and partners while also inspiring pride in our teams.   

Why the cubed symbol? It’s our way of saying we’re taking things to a whole new level. In an industry predicted to reach $650 billion by 2030, this small but powerful symbol indicates our ambition and drive for the future.  

Used in the same way as it is mathematically, the cubed symbol reflects how we multiply opportunities – helping OEMs in the automotive, agriculture and transportation industries unlock exponential value from their connected vehicles.  

We don’t just solve connectivity challenges; we turn them into opportunities. We make the complex, simple. We help your business grow.  

What Cubic3 does? 

Since launching our connectivity management platform in 2016, Cubic3 has accelerated as a business. Today, we connect millions of vehicles – 12% of all connected cars sold globally – in over 200 countries. We partner with world-class OEMs like Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, General Motors, CNH and IVECO.   

In a world where the in-car experience now trumps horsepower, our smart connectivity solutions not only ensure vehicles are securely connected anywhere in the world but also empower OEMs to provide innovative new services. We enable them to reach their customers more effectively and deliver the premium in-vehicle experiences they desire.   

What it means for our future  

As the saying goes ‘good things come in threes’ and alongside the wonderful relationships we’ve built with our customers and partners, we can’t forget our people. Cubicans are at the heart of our success. They are the embodiment of our cubed symbol, always multiplying and enhancing opportunities for our customers and the industry.  

The launch of our new brand is an exciting step in our journey. It follows a milestone year, with SoftBank Corp. This strategic partnership has helped fast-track our expansion in APAC and North America, furthering our goal of connecting the SDV market globally. 

As a business we are looking to the future and now, with Cubic3, our name, look and brand match that.

Plus, let’s face it….Cubic3 just sounds cooler!
