Shane Sorohan, CEO

Shane Sorohan is Chief Executive Officer of Cubic3, where he leads the company’s global strategy, growth and execution as it continues to scale its software-defined vehicle connectivity platform worldwide.
Shane joined Cubic3 in 2012 and has played a central role in the company’s evolution and expansion over more than a decade. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer, working closely with the executive team to shape corporate strategy and oversee its successful execution across global operations, customer delivery, regulatory compliance and in-life services.
Throughout his tenure, Shane has been instrumental in strengthening Cubic3’s global footprint and operational scale, while also leading the company’s corporate development agenda. He has played a key role in strategic transactions and partnerships with leading global organisations including SoftBank, Volkswagen Group, Qualcomm, the European Investment Bank and the Irish Strategic Investment Fund.
Before joining Cubic3, Shane worked in corporate finance with NCB Corporate Finance, where he advised on M&A and fundraising transactions across a broad range of sectors in Ireland and the UK, supporting companies at various stages of their growth and development.

Peter Wyatt, CDO

Peter Wyatt is Chief Delivery Officer at Cubic3 and a senior technology and delivery leader with extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale platforms, global infrastructure, and mission-critical services across complex organisations.
He brings a strong background from Intel, Dell, Hewlett Packard and General Motors, where he held senior leadership roles spanning global telecommunications, client engineering, information security, risk management and enterprise IT operations. He has led global technology strategy and operational delivery at scale, overseeing resilient, secure, high-performance environments supporting manufacturing, cloud and corporate operations worldwide.
Peter is recognised for his disciplined focus on execution and enterprise-scale transformation, leading large, geographically distributed teams with an emphasis on reliability, security and operational excellence. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an MBA from UCD, master’s degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Technology, and was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2010.
As a member of Cubic3’s Executive Leadership Team, Peter plays a key role in strengthening the company’s global delivery capability, ensuring its platforms operate to the highest standards of performance, security and resilience.

Susan Rafferty, CPO


Dave McManamon, CFO

David McManamon is the Chief Financial Officer at Cubic3. Before Cubic3, David served as Group Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer for EMEA and CALA at Xtrails since 2012. In 2016, Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that it had completed its acquisition of Xtralis for $480 million. David along with the executive team lead this transaction. Prior to that from 2005 until 2012 David was with Payzone. He steadily progressed at PayZone through numerous corporate finance and divisional finance leadership roles, eventually becoming Group Financial Controller. Along with significant global experience, David has a wealth of international experience having lived and worked in Australia managing specific divisional growth initiatives for BKA (a subsidiary of Burger King Corporation inc.) David started his financial career with KMPG in Dublin as Senior financial accountant.

David Kelly, CCO

Dave is the Chief Corporate Officer at Cubic3. Dave works with the senior leadership team to formulate corporate strategy and other business units to communicate the corporate strategy, ensuring that enterprise-level plans are translated into the plans of the various units and departments to execute strategic initiatives. He also has responsibility for legal and compliance, managing a team of legal professionals with full responsibility for all legal and compliance issues affecting a global telecoms company. A solicitor with over 10 years PQE having initially worked as a banking and commercial solicitor before moving in-house as a general practitioner with a particular focus on telecoms with Vodafone and Sky before taking up his current position with Cubic3 in 2018.

Satoshi Uchiyama, Board member

Satoshi is the Strategic Growth Director and a board member at Cubic3. Seconded from SoftBank Corp., he leads growth strategies across businesses. He also explores and manages collaboration and synergy between Cubic3 and SoftBank.
With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Satoshi has extensive experience in corporate and back office functions, including HR, business planning, sales promotion and marketing. Also, in the latter part of his career, he has managed PMI for Sprint Corp. in the U.S., served as CEO of a joint venture company between Alibaba Cloud and SoftBank and been VP of cloud and industry solutions pre-sales at SoftBank Enterprise, before taking on his current role in March 2024.

Hirokazu Uechi, Board member

Hirokazu Uechi serves as Board Director and Finance & Strategic Alignment Director at Cubic3, where he is playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic vision and financial direction, leveraging Cubic3’s assets as a SoftBank affiliate.
With over 15 years’ experience in the global industry, Hirokazu is an accomplished finance and corporate planning expert. Prior to joining Cubic3, he held several senior leadership roles within SoftBank’s affiliate companies. Specialising in strategic planning, financial management and M&A integration, Hirokazu has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation with discipline in both established and emerging markets.

Gerry McQuaid, Board member

Gerry McQuaid is Member of the Management Board and has been part of the Senior Leadership Team at Cubic3 since its establishment in 2009. Before joining Cubic3, Gerry had a successful career in Sales & Marketing leadership in the Mobile and IT industries. Gerry led the team that built Ireland’s second mobile network into what became O2 Ireland, where he was Chief Commercial Officer and Main Board Member. Prior to his Mobile industry career, Gerry had a successful career in Sales within the IT industry. He was part of the leadership team in Ireland for Digital Equipment Corporation where he managed Enterprise Sales, and prior to this he worked in Enterprise Sales in the UK for ICL/Fujitsu. Gerry has a Natural Sciences Degree from Trinity College, Dublin and is married with three daughters.
